Protection Prayer– From the Wayward and the Perverse:
O God, my God! I have set out from my home, holding fast unto the cord of Thy love, and I have committed myself wholly to Thy care and Thy protection. I entreat Thee by Thy power through which Thou didst protect Thy loved ones from the wayward and the perverse, and from every contumacious oppressor, and every wicked doer who hath strayed far from Thee, to keep me safe by Thy bounty and Thy grace. Enable me, then, to return to my home by Thy power and Thy might. Thou art, truly, the Almighty, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting. ~ Bahá’u’lláh

Ô Dieu, mon Dieu ! Je suis parti de ma maison, m’attachant fermement au cordon de Ton amour, et je me suis entièrement remis à Ton soin et à Ta protection. Je T’implore, par Ton pouvoir grâce auquel Tu as protégé Tes bien-aimés des égarés et des pervers, de tout oppresseur obstiné et de tout malfaiteur qui s’est éloigné de Toi, de me garder en sécurité par Ta bonté et Ta grâce. Permets-moi alors de retourner chez moi par Ta puissance et Ta force. Tu es, en vérité, le Tout-Puissant, le Secours dans le péril, l’Être subsistant par Lui-même. ~ Bahá’u’lláh

I have risen this morning by Thy grace, O my God, and left my home trusting wholly in Thee, and committing myself to Thy care. Send down, then, upon me, out of the heaven of Thy mercy, a blessing from Thy side, and enable me to return home in safety even as Thou didst enable me to set out under Thy protection with my thoughts fixed steadfastly upon Thee.
There is none other God but Thee, the One, the Incomparable, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise. ~ Bahá’u’lláh

Je me suis levé ce matin par ta grâce, ô mon Dieu et, entièrement confiant en toi, m’en remettant à tes soins, j’ai quitté ma demeure. Du ciel de ta miséricorde, fais descendre sur moi une bénédiction, et permets-moi de retourner sain et sauf à mon foyer comme tu m’as permis de le quitter sous ta protection, mes pensées fermement fixées sur toi.
Il n’y a pas d’autre Dieu que toi, l’Unique, l’Incomparable, l’Omniscient, le Très-Sage.~ Bahá’u’lláh

Me he levantado esta mañana por tu gracia, oh mi Dios, y he dejado mi hogar confiando plenamente en Ti y entregándome a tu cuidado. Haz descender, pues, sobre mí, desde el cielo de tu merced, una bendición de tu parte y permíteme regresar salvo a mi hogar, así como me permitiste salir bajo tu protección con mis pensamientos fijos firmemente en Ti.
No hay otro Dios más que Tú, el Único, el Incomparable, el Omnisciente, el Todo Sabio. ~ Bahá’u’lláh
